I had a terrible dream last night. I was checking the Kerasotes web page yesterday before work, as to become informed of any new releases coming out this weekend that I would have to see. I saw the poster for Amityville Horror (which is not coming out this weekend, FYI) and read what it was about, because even though it was a remake, I have never seen the first one. Now the info thing said that the guy shot everybody in the house, but my dream was that there was a bonfire at some house and a bunch of people were watching the movie on a bunch of different TVs in a bunch of different rooms in the afore mentioned house. Then some guy came in and started hacking everybody apart. I thought he cut my arm off, but really it was just banged up and hard to move. I woke up at exactly 4:09 am and was actually scared to go back to sleep. I am never afraid to go back to sleep. I am always able to tell myself that it was only a dream. However, the extremely weird thing about my dream is that about a week ago, I experienced a dream in which the people of the world were being attacked and exploding right outside my house. I'm not sure what I was doing, but I was attempting to remove something from under my kitchen sink, but my sink fell on my arms, making them feel like there were no bones in them. What is up with my arms coming off or feeling like they're coming off? Dreammoods.com says, "To dream that your arm has been injured, signifies your inability to care for yourself or your helplessness in reaching out to others. You may have been feeling limited and restricted in terms of your freedom or activities. The right arm signifies your outgoing nature and is associated with masculine energy, while your left arm signifies your supportive or nurturing nature and is associated with feminine qualities. Losing either arm may suggest that you are failing to recognize its respective characteristics." It was my right arm that was out of place. Does that mean that I am definitely not a man? Thanks, but I think I knew that already.
No one is here today. The parking lot lay dead this morning, blending in with the gloominess of the day. I'm not complaining though. I got a good parking spot, and the 9 kids that showed up for my english class today got extra credit for coming, so that was good. Since i dont have class for another hour and a half, I may write again later, but I'm done for now.
